Project Description

The tent covered a wedding for over 300 guests. The challenge was to create the look and feel of the St. Regis Hotel on the clients’ property. The entire 10,000 square feet of tented event space was placed on a flooring system six feet above ground that spanned property line to property line. Obstacles included uneven ground, trees and a small footprint for the event. The climate control system was ducted in the floor and custom vents built. All generators and staff restrooms were delivered 10 days before the wedding as there was no yard access after the floor system was installed. A 10,000lb presidential restroom was elevated five feet off the ground so the entry doors would be level with the rest of the event space. Custom staircases and handrails were built leading into the grand entrance of the opulent tented reception. Luxurious draping was installed outside from the tent eave to the ground to hide the elevated flooring system.
