Project Description

A regional charity required unique venue and tenting to host their annual fundraising dinner. They requested a clear roof tent structure so guests could view the new stadium from the playing field.

All equipment was installed on the playing field of new stadium, but no equipment was allowed to be placed directly on the field. Approximately 40,000 square ft of specialized deck matting was installed to protect the field. Equipment had to be unloaded in the parking lot, reloaded onto smaller trucks and transported via a narrow tunnel through the stadium.

We had to remove tents, concrete ballast, staging and HVAC equipment in a 12-hour timeframe because the field needed to be prepped for practice and the Monday night football game. All equipment had to move through back through the tunnel connecting the loading dock to the field. Six forklifts, four rack trucks and a staff of 35 people were required to meet the removal schedule.

The client reported that guests loved the experience of having dinner on the playing field, and the charity had a very successful fundraising event.
