Project Description

Our talented team of designers coupled with our in-house manufacturing capabilities allowed us to provide a unique, distinctive multi-tent venue for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week semi-annually. We provide numerous custom components for the event including custom transition pieces to connect tents, guttering systems between tents and from tent to restroom trailers, level flooring, tiered seating, custom doorways, Sky Boxes, a specially designed aluminum composite façade, and a second story emporium level in the lobby tent. In February 2014 we featured a custom double-sided vinyl application that allowed the exterior of the tents to remain white, while the interior was all black providing a very unique look and feel to the event space. Our team of professional Event Managers strategically scheduled the installation to allow for constant accessibility to the space and to provide access for additional contractors. Over 60 semi-trailers are scheduled to arrive between the hours of 8pm and 5am to avoid rush hour traffic in Manhattan. The trucks that arrive each evening are loaded with only those items needed for the next 24 hours. One crew works from 8pm to 6am each evening to unload the scheduled trucks. We also run two additional crews on 12 hour shifts, 24 hours a day to meet the tight schedule timelines.
